poem feed (What is a feed?)

O card of memory half-crazed:
Untamed, lazy, sluggard to the stir
Of waking and retrieving, ghost of thought,
In seizing you the game is swiftly done,
And all the little rituals are through.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

A kind of scattered rank,
So gathered but in more a swarm,
Cohesion with a flash of bubbling,
A tumble here a tackle there,
The dives: the watching through dim goggles,
The rank affirmed until we wash up shattered.

Friendly faces, I never knew!
People I scarce saw for each
And every moment of a year,
But now today: so easy to reach.

By your cuts we've found joy,
By your wounds we've been healed,
In the shadow of your cross our chains fall shattered,

Author of life you have gifted it in fullness,
Poured out yourself and I thirst no more,
Help me to pour out myself as I thirst no more.
