poem feed (What is a feed?)

Now he becomes a fool for them,
A jolly tool and patchwork friend,
Some kind of distant cousin-brother,
All the hats and none of them.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

A little splash within your lives,
And I'm deep within the pool again,
We're in this same time-frozen place,
I've watched us age and change so fast,
Our humours come and go in somewhat style,
But I pray our warmness never cools,
I hope that I will leave such ripples as to waft,
Towards the shores of grace and selfless love.

Passing in the rain,
The glass in turn is slick,
Upon the sky I see a crane,
Draw red lightning in the darkness quick,
To dance for us under the rain,
To watch us pass and leap on grass.

Glasses fit the cloudy gaze,
And lines are caught on whetstone firm,
I hear the slicing bladesong clear,
The sound of beautiful creation near,
And now the far I too grasp in my sight,
And thank the Lord my eyes discern.
