The gravity of little minds,
All worlds unto themselves,
Do multiply their questions to
The voids beyond them delve,
Catch orbits of the little things,
To make them their own realm,
What joy to be a part of this,
Unending beginning.
To share with you is such a joy,
I pain part from your beaming face,
The fondest memories we chart,
Are fodder for a giggled tune,
And all is lightness here with you.
The gift of laughter and the simple things,
Wrapped behind those eyes so small,
And I am asked for favourite things -
Which struggling to grasp are drowned beneath,
A chorus of theirs in their myriads.
A ball of tears,
Come have a hug, now look right here,
You're far too small for all those tears,
Such noisy blasts, I hardly felt my ears,
We'll wait it out together: you'll be alright my dear.
