poem feed (What is a feed?)

The gargled proof so dastardly,
Eludes three strained eyes,
Mad tinkerers the lot with glee,
That never loves a lie,
Is plastered on thin lips until,
Aha! the proof belies.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

Deeper nights sink into sandstone dips,
The kisses of the moon laid starkly,
On their weathered edge. To graft,
A piece of starlight into ancient arches,
Flourishes that linger- pretty permanence.

I give to you my overwhelm,
The boulders bearing on my back,
I take you to my spirit's helm,
Watch you take your throne,
This grace that you would walk with me,
To your own seat upon the deck,
You never left, this... this I see,
And steer me through the wilting waves.

Blood combusts and rages through my arteries,
It boils forth,
At once tame and hiding a primordial temper.
It rises to the surface dancing,
Through the veins and down my legs,
It stalks and cycles in a timeless prowl.

One step,
Two step,
Green light,
Green light.

I run unfettered,
The concrete slapping my soles in retaliation,
As I run without restraint,
As I run a fool and sage,
As I run to spite the clock.

As much as I like to run with these long legs,
And decorate my rush with a flourish and twirl,
He gave me these fine legs of mine,
And turns the red lights green,
For tired feet to tread.
