poem feed (What is a feed?)

A brother there for your troubles,
Adopted, grafted, joint the same,
To struggle in and on the waves,
To with you chart the pilgrim's way,
And hash out where you brashly shout,
An unsure thing, but turn instead,
To humble thought and sober prayer.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

Man in the mirror,
I can hardly remember when you were not so,
It seems the tides of time have washed your face,
Like sand you've slimmed imperceptibly,
Like sand it's dragged away the marks of youth,
Yet I see a sparkle in your eyes,
As shiny rocks that glimmer in the water's wake,
You are becoming yet become,
And if He wills I'll watch the wisdom mark your face,
In creases 'till I hardly remember when you were not so.

Snuggled up in parents' bed,
Packaged up in duvet-packing-peanuts,
That pack us in to talk a little,
In broken strings of sayings gone,
I must be going sometime now,
My bed awaits,
And poem snuggles end so soon.
