poem feed (What is a feed?)

Detuned horns - mad brass constrained,
Chaos bent into transcendent order,
Birthing passion, fiery beauty -
Redeeming disjoint registers to fill the world with sound.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

O the sweetness of worship,
Like water to the desert sand,
Sweet honey glowing off the comb,
That fills up your belly with assurance,
*Surely all things are as they should be,*
*Before the throne in spirit and in truth,*
*Surely all things are as they should be,*
*Surrendered at the altar where our Father smiles.*

Fellowship with guys far older than I,
A celebration of two fathers,
Filled with laughter,
Warm food on the table after,
Old tunes blast loudly overhead,
But the conversation hits the mind-master,
The master's mind that is,
The master's mind that guides boys and men to his side,
He's the great one,
And conversation settles on his ways and wisdom.
