poem feed (What is a feed?)

Old friends become so new again,
When right there face to face,
Their breath so warm it'd bargain -
With the air. It'd fill with fog the space,
And laced in every passing vapour,
Far-spoken 'ventures on this fledgling race.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

Maths inside a pouring day,
I fill the boards with pen like rain,
Cascading down to pool in merry little fractions,

I fill my mind with tools like water,
That sits pretty until you let it fall,
Through darkest rain clouds down, down,

And strike the earth and make it soft,
From the mud the bridges rise aloft,
The silicon chips from flowing silt.

School is back on the horizon,
And I offer up my toil to you,
I will delight in you and you in me,
And you promise to renew me,
And you promise to make me holy,
So as I look over the horizon of weighty sleep,
Keep my eyes on you,
And my will on its knees,
Reverent and loving,
For I see you there amidst the bleak greys and overt pastels,
I see you there - waiting for me.
