poem feed (What is a feed?)

Morning rain that fills the world with sound,
Crystal clear melds into shattered white,
Like mist and fog - a halo on the ground,
This fiercer blessing full in sight,
To temper greenery, rebound,

Rescinding at the briefest call,
To bursts of sun in place of emptied clouds.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

Too sleepy for a celebration,
But instead the slightest smile abounds,
That tells of satisfaction here and now,
That tells of time invested that seems to wow
Even me the author of these many words,
Praise the Lord, for by grace I write in freedom proud.
