poem feed (What is a feed?)

Still Christmassing,
As I hear the year rolling up just behind,
Rampant on the edge of time to swallow past,
Hasty to unfurl the New Year yet it slows,
To see a hectic reunion span the west,
To watch the twinkling lights before they cease,
To glimpse the winking moonlight on the people as they chatter.

Poems written on this day in years gone by:

The bristly yet familiar carpet tickles my toes as I pace around,
A cozy kind of dimness holds the air in its grasp,
And I wonder what it's like to fall upwards.

We're always falling downwards, you see,
And I was wondering if you could, you know...
Mix it up.
